The $1 surprise

• What you get: access to a short, light-hearted video, streamed on this site. It's a fun gimmick, not a product or service of any other kind.
• Price: a single payment of US$1.00, shown on the Stripe checkout page before you pay. Your bank may add currency conversion fees.
• One-time only: this is not a subscription. Nothing renews, and you will never be charged again.
• Access: the video is available right after payment, through the link you're redirected to, for 24 hours.
• Payment: processed securely by Stripe. I never see your card details.

Right of withdrawal and refunds

Because the video is digital content delivered immediately, you ask for it to be supplied straight away when you pay. You acknowledge that this means you lose the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal that applies to some online purchases (for example in the EU), once the content has been made available to you.

That said, if anything goes wrong (you were charged but couldn't watch the video, you were charged twice, or you're simply unhappy), email me within 30 days at david.davitkovski.it@gmail.com and I'll refund you. No hoops to jump through.

The projects, text, images and code samples on this site are my own work unless stated otherwise. You're welcome to view and share links to them. Please don't copy them and present them as your own. Everything here is provided "as is" for informational purposes, without guarantees of any kind.

The site links to other websites (for example GitHub, Spotify and project demos). I'm not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Acceptable use

Please don't try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site, and don't use the contact form to send spam or unlawful content.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, I'm not liable for indirect losses arising from use of this site. My total liability for the $1 surprise is limited to the amount you paid. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.

Changes

I may update these terms from time to time. The version shown when you make a purchase is the one that applies to it.
